Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my portfolio!

I am a master's student in Critical Studies in Literacy and Pedagogy in the department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures at Michigan State University, and will earn my degree in May of 2014.  I am excited to share with you the learning and teaching I have done as I look to serve a diverse community college population as a composition instructor or writing center administrator.

Within this portfolio, you can view or download a number of documents pertaining to my experience and skills. My teaching philosophy describes the motivations and beliefs I bring to instruction. Under teaching materials you will find documents such as assignment sheets, rubrics, syllabi, and presentations that I have used and created as a first-year writing instructor. My coursework page includes projects and assignments I have completed as part of my master's program. Finally, please refer to my curriculum vita for a summary of my qualifications and skills.
